Nanotechnology From Academia to Industry

Announcing the winners of poster prizes at NTAI-2023

Functional Composite Materials collaborated with NTAI-2023 to sponsor the poster prize at the 6th international symposium in Holon, Israel.

The academia-industry collaboration effectively serves to foster further development of nanotechnology-based products. This meeting brought together professionals from both academia and industry, to share their experience in nanoscience research.

The following cutting edge issues were discussed:

  • Materials & devices based on light-surfaces interaction
  • Nanotechnology for renewable energy & photovoltaics
  • Industry-originated challenges for nanoscience
  • Nanotechnology in medicine & food industry

Three prizes were awarded by the conference committee, each of which received a cash prize.

The winners were:

Lina Borsky
Tel Aviv University

Poster titled “Nanobubbles for Groundwater Remediation Inspecting the Effects of Solution Chemistry and Porous Media Characteristics on Nanobubbles Transport”

Yarden Danieli
Weizmann Institute of Science

Poster titled “Guided 1D Nanostructures of 2D Materials: from Synthesis to Functional Devices”

Neena Prasad
Ariel University

Poster titled: “Enhancing the Stability of Vertically Aligned CsPbBr3 Nanowire Arrays through Template-Assisted Growth”

The next NTAI2024 conference is scheduled for June 5-6, 2024.
